Who likes spammers, raise their hands. Why can’t I see any? That’s because everybody hates them. I haven’t met anyone who likes spammers yet but maybe I’m living in a narrow world. Love transcends all right?
Well enough of my nonsense, for those of us who have Twitter accounts (who on earth doesn’t have a Twitter account these days?), these spam tweets are on the rise and it’s getting pretty annoying. What annoys me most about spam tweets is that these spam tweets makes other people’s brilliant tweets lost in the stream.
How to stop em bad tweets? I came across this service provided by True Twit when I recently wanted to follow a guy on Twitter. True Twit helps to reduce spam by validating your new followers. They validate your new followers by sending them a validation request via direct message or DM for short in the Twitter kingdom. True Twit provides two types of services, free and premium. I use the free services only. With the premium service of course you’re gonna get more features of True Twit but I consider the free services to be adequately sufficient for my needs. Its up to you and your needs and also the depth of your pockets. My pockets are quite shallow these days so no premium for me.
